Your project stays in this browser

Calculations do not upload measurements or material prices. Saving locally uses localStorage under roomledger.project.v1; calculators use roomledger.calculator.floor.v1, roomledger.calculator.paint.v1 and roomledger.calculator.tile.v1. One project per tool is stored on this browser until you remove it, clear browser data or overwrite it. Storage is not encrypted; other scripts on the same origin and anyone using your browser profile may access it.

Use “Forget saved copy” to remove stored project data without clearing your current form. JSON downloads and CSV exports are your files. Be careful sharing home details. Import accepts only the RoomLedger format and does not execute file contents. There is no account or cloud backup.

Advertising and choices

The supplied advertising integration uses highrevenueformat.com. It is a third party, not a RoomLedger feature. In preview mode external advertising is disabled. A production operator must verify its provider, purposes, cookies, additional recipients, international transfers and applicable rights before enabling it. This document alone is not a certified consent-management solution or legal opinion.

When a reviewed build enables advertising, the ad script loads only after an affirmative choice (or a saved, unexpired affirmative preference) and when the reserved slot enters view. “Keep advertising off” declines; “Withdraw consent” removes the frame and prevents new requests by that page. Previous requests cannot be undone. No tool is restricted by refusal. Consent is stored as roomledger.ads.v1 for up to 180 days and tied to the configured policy version. A new policy version requires a new choice. Global Privacy Control disables ad loading.

The ad frame does not receive measurements from our application. Third-party requests can still reveal technical data such as IP address and browser information. Frame isolation limits parent access but does not prove that the ad vendor is safe or legally compliant.

Hosting and analytics

No analytics SDK is included. A deployed hosting provider may collect server access logs, including IP addresses. The production operator must disclose its hosting provider, log retention, lawful bases, rights handling and any subsequent vendors before publication.

Children and sensitive information

The product is a general home-planning utility, not a children's service. Do not enter secrets, access codes, occupant information or sensitive personal data in project names. An operator targeting particular jurisdictions must complete the appropriate privacy assessment.
